About
We are a mother and daughter family business! We make our plates together using stoneware ceramic and lead-free, food safe glazes. Our unique design took over a year to create, and through trial and error, we believe we have created the best finger friendly grating surface.
We started selling our graters at local farmer markets around the Portland area in 2015, and have been rapidly expanding since then. You can now find us all around the Portland Metro area during market season, and all throughout the Coachella Valley during the months of November- May.
From our hands to yours, we hope The Grate Plate makes cooking quick, easy, and most of all… fun!
