Cajun Papa’s take pride in the food we create. Learned the traditional way from my Ma Maw Duhon, Uncles and my Dad. Our family is from the small town of Garyville Louisianan, where cooking big meals is the norm.
My Dad and I used to cook at fairs and small festivals when I was just 13 years old under the name “Bayou Bob’s”. This was just the beginning of what has become a passion for good food that warms the soul, and puts smiles on peoples faces. This has been a shared dream of my Dad’s and I to open a restaurant, I always talked about starting at farmers markets.
What ever the reason we seemed to talk each other out of the idea. I created the name Cajun Papa’s with my wife a few years ago, and since the passing of my Dad it has taken on a hole new meaning. So in tribute to my dad and all the fun we had cooking for our closest friends and relatives, I bring you Cajun Papa’s. Something to be enjoyed with your family and friends.
