Our sauces are Thai and Lao inspired recipes. We offer a variety of chili oils available in three flavors; original, lemongrass, and ginger. It is great for dips, salads, and even ice cream!
Established in 2015, Sao Noi is a Portland-based company producing savory Southeast Asian-inspired sauces. Our products are all-natural, gluten-free, and vegan.
Born in the heart of the Columbia Gorge, Sao Noi quickly became a household name. Literally translating to “little girl” in Laotian, our founder, and mom, Marnie is the youngest of her eight siblings.
Mom began making her sauces* from her little, cozy restaurant kitchen in Hood River. The exotic flavors in Sao Noi‘s sauces reflect our Southeast-Asian roots, evoking a nostalgia for our family’s traditional Lao and Thai comfort recipes.
Today our sauces are still handcrafted in small batches in the Pacific Northwest to ensure that a whole ‘lotta love goes into every jar! Here at Sao Noi, we say “sauce out,” an embodiment of our good flavors and vibes!
*As an homage to our late dad, Tom, we are carrying on his peanut sauce recipe and sharing it with you and your family—peanut sauce aficionados, unite!
