At just 21 years old, Owner/Founder Alex Howard, backpacked up and down the coast of California, landing himself in San Diego in April of 2014. After realizing there wasn’t a huge selection of east coast seafood in San Diego, Alex came up with the idea to sell Maine Lobster Rolls and New England Clam Chowder at local Farmers Markets. In October 2014, WML got invited to the Ocean Beach farmers market. Alex would then call his older brother, Eric (24), to help him start and run the business for the remainder of the year.
WML has 6 New Restaurants set to open in the upcoming 2021 and 2022 years. With new locations in National City, Carlsbad, Hawaii (Waikiki), and also 3 new stores in LA, (Culver City, Topanga, and Edin Park)
