My name is Tyrell Givens and “2025th Street” is the combination of my ideas and the things I love.
I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. I was the kid everyone in elementary school came to for their Simpsons drawings. My entire life I have been a “nerd”, and have been interested in video games, comics, cartoons, and movies of all genres.
For me creativity comes from a place of joy and happiness, and that’s the feeling I try to convey when creating my pieces. I’ve always had a love for art, and being a musician for years as well… this adventure basically created itself.
Now located in the Portland area, I am surrounded by lots of musical inspiration, and tons of talented local artists. I have learned a ton since relocating here from Florida, and it has changed and improved my style. My belief is that art should make you, the viewer, feel good. When you see one of my pieces, or have it in your home, I want it to bring back happy memories of a song you love, or your favorite Pokémon.
What started as gifts for friends, has now become something I thoroughly enjoy doing. I also believe that it’s important to give back to the community, so I’m active with different organizations and events, donating my talents to help others.
