The Uplifting Products mission is to provide an example of chemical free cosmetics and body care at a price within everyone’s budget. All plant and mineral based, designed to accent beauty instead of covering you up.
Essential to our business model, we strive to educate about why switching to a more natural and chemical free lifestyle is essential to longevity of health and essential for the sustainability of the planet.
We work towards a future where cosmetic and body care crafters are transparent with their sourcing and use of ingredients; listen to their consumers to ever evolve to be more renewable, user friendly and high quality; and give back to the community from which they formed and do business in.
We are striving towards this goal every day by educating our customers about where we source our natural ingredients, sharing our continued effort to find renewable and recyclable packaging, and having real human discussions with our customers about how to do better business.
Uplifting Products pairs with other local businesses, sourcing local (Portland, Oregon, and United States) ingredients and packaging when possible. And any and all products not fit for sale are donated to local and afar homeless shelters, group homes, needy families and education centers.
Furthermore, Uplifting Products is in constant research and development stage to find more natural ways to achieve pigments and emulsification from sustainable sources. Gently processed mother nature is the only thing we need and we continue to try and make our formulation simpler and more ecofriendly. Oregon and west coast based ingredients are the heart of this.
Historically we have used cosmetics for thousands of years and we are tying to take it back to a simpler time with our line. Simple gentle mineral and plant pigments, raw oils and waxes and essential oils for scents and flavors make this all possible.
Just like an ancient Egypt when the women would hold their cosmetics in clay pots with a natural cork lid and apply with a handmade brush, our eyeshadows too come in a glass fairy jar with a sustainable and historically relevant natural cork closure.
